GUtech Students Wins 3rd Place at Imperial Barrel Award 2025

We are proud to announce that the GUtech team placed 3rd in the 16th Imperial Barrel Award (IBA) competition, held in Abu Dhabi. Competing against top universities from across the Middle East—including teams of Master’s students—our undergraduate students showcased exceptional geoscience knowledge, advanced data interpretation skills, and remarkable teamwork.

Their outstanding performance is a testament to their commitment and the high academic standards upheld at GUtech. This remarkable achievement marks a proud milestone for the university and serves as an inspiration for future students aiming to shine in international competitions.
