The Oman Sustainability Hackathon (Tahadi Mustadam) is a two-day event aimed at equipping young Omanis with the knowledge and skills to develop innovative solutions to critical environmental challenges. This initiative is part of the Jewel of Arabia expedition and was organized by the British Council in collaboration with the German University of Technology in Oman, with support from ukinoman and outboundoman.
The winning team, which leveraged AI technology to detect water leakage, will represent Oman at the Global Hackathon in Edinburgh.
Additionally, other winning teams will have the opportunity to present their pioneering solutions at Oman Sustainability Week this April.
