GUtech hosted Techstars’ Startup Weekend for the first time, a 54-hour entrepreneurial education competition. Participants from various universities and colleges across Oman collaborated to form teams and ideas, culminating in the development of functional prototypes, demos, and pitches within the tight timeframe. Over the course of the event, 12 industry experts provided invaluable mentorship to the students. The final day saw participants presenting their innovative ideas to a panel of judges, marking a significant effort to cultivate entrepreneurial awareness among the youth.
