Us
The primary focus of the Entrepreneurship and Educational Services Department (EES) at the German University of Technology in Oman is on training and upskilling students and the community, enabling them to thrive in the worlds of education and entrepreneurship.

We are dedicated to encouraging and supporting our students’, alumni and faculty members’ creative thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship in order to help our communities contribute to economic growth.

The German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) has established the GUStartHub business incubator in Halban with the intention of providing prospective students and graduates of GUtech with opportunities for the commercialization and incubation of technology-based businesses. We work on providing a nurturing environment for startups to grow and thrive. We offer mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to resources to help startups develop their products and reach their full potential.
- To facilitate the commercialization and incubation of technology software-based businesses for prospective students and graduates of GUtech.
- Enable Entrepreneurship: Encourage and support students and graduates in starting their software-based businesses.
- Provide Resources: Offer physical space, guidance, and networking opportunities for their startups.
- Facilitate Innovation: Foster an environment that nurtures innovative technology ideas.

Our department is dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students and the community. Through our initiatives, we aim to provide a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to develop their ideas and turn them into successful businesses.
Cryptography
Our department hosts a variety of events, including pitch competitions, networking sessions, and guest speaker events. These events provide valuable opportunities for students and entrepreneurs to connect, learn from industry experts, and gain exposure to new ideas and trends.
